I don’t blame any WR that moves on after this year. They all came here (including Singer) thinking they would be catching balls from Rising. That never fully materialized. We don’t know how WR’s will be utilized with Beck either.

KW contract goes through 2027. Morgan is 45. I really don’t see him leaving at this point. He’s turned other offers. Why leave now when Kyle’s finish line is in sight?

What do you think about his ability to recruit? Something I would’ve liked to see from our new OC was pipelines from other places.

KW allows the same offensive philosophy he’s had for 20 years. Utah’s been down this same OC road many times with the same results. Nothing changes until KW leaves, to think otherwise is a set up for recurring disappointment. Beck will do what he is told and if the offense sputters he’s the fall guy. Rinse and repeat.

I pray he retires! As much as I do love Coaching Whitt and what he’s done by building on what McBride and Meyer started, he’s now become the problem for the program and making the offense look worse by controlling and interfering too much. I think he can shoulder most of the blame for this season’s 5-7 record.

I wonder why? Not enough reps? Whitt’s the problem? Who knows, but I agree this would is a good one leaving. 🙁

I was not in favor of Cam last year. This year if Cam’a back. I will not be till he AND Whitt are gone.

Byu is losing a lot of starters on the dline, if I’m not mistaken. I wouldn’t be surprised if Pepa ends up there.

I think Pepa was developing into one of our main run stoppers. His size and agility will be hard to replace.

Agreed, @Proud. This hire has Whitt written all over it, so don’t think he retires. We will see an improvement in the O, but the bar is super low.

Lots of talent on the defense line. These guys can assess well the chances to play next year. There are younger guys in the program and there is good talent coming in this spring. The DL will continue to be good.

So Woods came, got free medical care, a stipend, plus whatever NIL he was given, never played a down and is in the portal. That tracks.
