If Whittingham had the attitude of why change things when it’s working, then why did he fire 8 offensive coordinators? Obviously, he thought there was a problem with the offense, but it wasn’t with him.

I dont think anyone should be surprised at the lack of communication from the coaching staff.

Fact is he interviewed knowing the situation and was seriously contemplating it. OU is closer to home, gives him a higher profile, same salary and additional incentive cash. But let’s not let facts stand in our narratives way.

Many players around the country may be waiting until after the bowl/playoffs season is over before entering the portal, waiting until all teams are done playing and ready to focus on building next year’s squad.

We have to cut our roster significantly this offseason, just like every other P4 school so departures are coming. The fact that none have been announced yet just tells me the staff has solidifying coaching hires as the #1 priority and haven’t yet had the difficult discussions that are due for multiple players.

Other that Troy Taylor who left to be an FCS HC after 1 season and who is now the HC at Stanford.

This could be one of those blind squirrel/nut things and then CALIMAN’s trolling would be absolutely brutal going forward.
