I’m not a bigger fan of 45-42 than I am of 13-10. I do want a team that is capable of putting up 45 every week and don’t think that should be sacrificed so that the team will only give up 10. Great teams are capable of both. Good teams do one or the other and bad teams can do neither.

Totally agree and on-board with Utah getting Beck, the issue I have specifically with Whittingham is he’s a narccistic control freak and hires people in his circle or close to his inner circle by association or affiliation (Utah/TDS ties) that he can control and when he says jump, they say how hi.

I expect that so many of the great coaches have awesome offense numbers but have defensive numbers like Whitt’s offense numbers. I expect that very few have great numbers on both sides over a range of years like this. Idk, I listen to OC regularly and he doesn’t typically speculate from my point of view until recently. He seems to be upset at the lack of info like most fans. But glad I gave you a good laugh!

Are we all not sure we are just waiting to hire the UNLV guy after the MWC championship game? He would be my first choice of all of the others that have gone elsewhere.

You are right Eagle, recruiting has been decent considering the context. Maybe I’m overreacting, but I’m just worried. This is such a crucial time in CFB that we may not see consequences of current decisions manifest until a few years down the line.
