Do the 3 and a half. Andre could be part time during the season, working with guards.

    – Is getting Wahlin back a priority for the new staff? Does Wahlin want to be back?

Wahlin and Dawes are priority 1 and 1A. Alex feels he can build around these two. I do believe he does want back he’s just doing his due diligence and getting his market value. I know Alex and Jake talk a lot

    – Any updates on some of the targets that have been…[Read more]

  • Honestly not mad about it. Unless he was fine coming off the bench with some very limited minutes. Really as this point the only ones that are in the portal that I really want back is Wahlin and Ausar.

I heard the same re Andre. Daniels’ son may be annnonced shortly.

I heard rumors that Andre Miller will likely not be part of the staff. He doesn’t want full-time hours. I’m hearing rumors about Donny Daniels’s son, who is an assistant at Utah State.

I would expect that for the most part the current players will test the portal to gain info to evaluate against the now unknown opportunity at Utah. I expect that some will likely choose to remain. But with the coaching turnover, it is like beginning the recruitment process except that other options will have a head start before the Utah coaching…[Read more]

Those are the same questions I’ve had. The G-League concluded March 29 so was hoping some good news that Andre might follow. One bit of news that dropped today is that Sharajvamts has entered the portal.

Hoping to get some insight from AZUte and others who may have insight:

    – Is getting Wahlin back a priority for the new staff? Does Wahlin want to be back?

    – Any updates on some of the targets that have been mentioned previously? Cam McDowell, Kelvin Odih, others.

    – Is Andre Miller going to be part of the staff? Sure seems like the likelihood is…[Read more]

  • What’s going on is this…tailwinds from 2024 season and Big 12 inclusion. BYU has some momentum right now. Couple this with our poor season and you can see how top in state recruits have shifted their gaze a bit.

However, I believe this is all secondary to BYU’s NIL strategy. BYU’s recruiting pool for football is small. It’s largely limited t…[Read more]

To add to this, those around him knew all BYU had to do is come close on the NIL. They basically had to give him a reason to not go there. They didn’t. Done deal.

I frequent said board too, I don’t comment much. While there are a lot of great Cougar fans, that place is kind of the epitome of everything people hate about the BYU fan base. Full of delusion. And not everything there is bad or delusional, but enough that it’s annoying.

Also greatly enjoy your posts Krindorr, and I hope you keep on posting.

Although a U fan, I went to the Y for undergraduate school and am very familiar with the tension that comes from having ties to both schools. In defense of the cougar fans, many are ignorant blowhards who don’t understand the games their team plays. From their ignorance they…[Read more]

Krindor you have always been honest and respectful on this site. I for one enjoy your posts and the insights you bring for both programs.

Many of us are Utah fans for those very reasons Krindor. The implication that not attending/cheering for TSPP somehow made me unworthy is why I am a Ute fan. I know most TSPP fans aren’t like that, but there are enough of them that it drove me away.

Thanks all, appreciate it. Not going to lie, I’m hurting a bit right now.

That’s always felt like home and been where I primarily post, with occasional excursions here or to the Utah 247 site.

Being completely rejected and shunned there with heavy-handed religious references (from a faith I share) for the fact that I also like Utah…well I…[Read more]

Ugh. I just read two separate threads over there. Many posts attacking Krindorr.

By the way – a few posts over there don’t take kindly to Krindoor’s comment that generally Utah fans have made him feel more welcome. They respond that we Ute fans didn’t know krindoor is a BYU fan. We’ll, I’ll respond by saying I’ve known for several years now…[Read more]

While i rarely visit Cougarboard, from what I’ve seen Krindorr has some of the best posts on college football stats.

It’s rare when a fan can take such an objective look at something and report what the facts say, not what is desired that they say.
