  It 100% is. Easier to win at USU. Easier to recruit at USU. Better shot at a P5 job. Money is same.
  
  The last two coaches at USU won 9+ and went on to P5 jobs. It’s a much better job right now.
  
  USU to the MWC may have been the killer move for BYU.
  
  If USU offered Kalani the job he’d be dumb not to take it.

    Craig Thompson pwned so hard. Tom Holmoe got caught sleeping with Utah and came up with an elaborate response that demonstrated BYU big timety and lit it all on fire. The glow was so warm and bright. Just made me happy all over.

  What would be really interesting is to see the BYU salary of these coaches. I think that would explain a lot. Ken Niumatolo (Navy Coach) said it was his dream job, but declined. He makes only 1.6 million at Navy.

    Ken what’s-his-face declined because Holmoe insisted that Detmer be the OC. He knew that the Detmer experiment would end in disaster because he’s a smart guy and a good football coach.

      Yes. That, and they treated him like it was a privilege that he was even getting interviewed for the job, and that it was his DUTY to take the job.
