Interesting take. LINK: http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/25625384/alabama-crimson-tide-coach-nick-saban-remains-opposed-expanding-playoff-field I like 8 teams. But I can see his point of view. Plus an expanded playoff could favor teams with better depth (i.e Bama, Clemson, Georgia, OSU, etc). Thoughts?
Right… because The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl had so much more meaning in the BCS era.
The guy whose program has made the playoff every year opposes increased competition for top shelf recruits.
Does anyone really think Saban and Alabama give two s**ts about lower tier bowl games?
He is pushing 70. Hopefully he will retire soon so the rest of CFB can catch a break. Our only hope is to outlive him.
