UW fires their OC and has a press conference scheduled this week where Coach Jimmy Lake is likely to be suspended indefinitely.  The buzz is the university is building a case to fire him with cause to avoid a 9 million dollar buy out.

They already have the case built. It’s just a matter of when they actually fire him.

That’s a fairly typical HR move for any organization where there’s evidence or suspicion of serious wrongdoing. You suspend the person to keep them away from witnesses and/or keep them from intentionally harming the organization until you conclude the investigation, and then you either fire or reinstate.

Focus on the superior academia prowess at UDub caused Jimmy to loose focus on the basics of acceptable behavior. He is now helping his administration find and exit ramp for what has become a disappointment.
