The new contract allows him to retire at any point and transition to the “consulting phase”.

I love this new contract, we need to incentivize him to stick around as HC as long as possible. But, this doesn’t necessarily mean he won’t retire soon. 

Based on recent comments, I think he’s firmly in the “taking it year-to-year” phase of his career. 

What a great spot for him to be in. He’s earned it.
