That’s been his assignment on some plays, yes. Pull to the hole, hit the hip of the NG to help the other blocker seal him outside, and follow through to get the second level. There was a Twitter video of one play against BYU that went well and Hans covered him too.

I am a huge fan of David Shaw, but he never adjusted and dropped more back into coverage. That 3-3-5 scheme Bronco and Rocky Long invented would be very effective against USC.
We will see in coming weeks if USC can keep it going. They certainly have the talent and capability to beat anybody.

I’m rooting for them to go 0-12. It won’t happen but I’d love it.

I was a little disappointed in our defense at times. Particularly in the first half. Other times they looked strong.

No, we didn’t look like a top 10 team. That happens a lot to teams who are actually in the top 10 though.

I have no idea how they do it. Every time a coach leaves I think they’ll fade into Oblivion but they proove me wrong every time. Dammit!
