Nah, we still beat tds with Shelley. Maybe won’t be a blowout like it was looking to be, but he will have 2 pac 12 games under his belt by then. And the D will show up for this game.

I do agree with you about the recruiting situation. Very unfortunate.

I am actually more worried about the defense against oregon than the offense with shelley. I do think the team will rally around shelley, and we have enough playmakers on offense to help him out. But our defensive performance yesterday… yikes. 

Shelly may be a bit better at throwing the medium and deep ball, so I see that aspect of our offense improving. That will help open up the run game. Oregon is winnable but will be very tough.

Arguably one of the biggest reason Utah has faltered in November is depth issues. This year is different – capable backups at nearly every position.
