It really is incredible how Utah completely owned USC over these last few years. What a time to be a Ute fan.

Maybe you are right about UVA, but I’m confident UNC is in super high demand.

Yep, UVA and UNC are 100% gone when it falls apart. The B1G or SEC would love to have both.

It’s definitely harder than the MWC, but there is no Oregon, Washington, or USC. So I think the schedule is a little easier than the Pac-12. That said, we shouldn’t expect it to be a cake walk. I’m really worried about the Ok State game. That’s the most likely loss IMO.

Will be interesting to see if that loyalty pays off. Feels like Wilson will Habs the team next season. But I’d love Rose to get some real playing time if only to see if he can play.

The game in Stillwater is really the only game that I think we have a good chance of losing.

The other games where I think we could have a slip up are:
TCU – Good coach, a season out from the NCG. I think they’ll be much better than last season.
Arizona – They still have Fifita. This is the 2nd most likely loss behind Ok St

Baby steps to football season…

I’m totally happy with Scalley taking the reigns, but wouldn’t complain if it were Meyer.

Meh, literally every coach has done this since the dawn of time. A silly think to still be bent about.

What qualifies him for the job? Has ever coached before.

I love Andre as much as the next guy, but coaching is different from.being a player. I’d rather find a quality, experienced coach.

This is especially true if/when the B1G gets into the South. If the B1G were to land UVA, UNC, FSU, and aTm (and I’d grab GA Tech due to being in Atlanta) they are essentially in every major market that the SEC is in. The SEC expanding west makes a ton of sense if there are indeed going to be two super leagues. Arizona State l, in particular, just seems like a perfect fit for the SEC in such a scenario.

My priorities are the secondary, o-line, and LB. I think we are generally fine all over the place, but these three positions I’d like the Utes to accrue more depth in.

I voted for Hive, Outlaws, Mountaineers, and Mammoth.

Gotta think he chose Utah due to an open QB competition after this season. I still think this will be Wilson’s team next year, so it’s a risk for Huard. Great pick up for the Utes!
