I know who is the least flagged: Washington Oline. The tackles hold like crazy and don’t let the ends chase Gaskins down. Probably the worst hold I saw all game was the SC final TD drive though. Two of the Ute DT get strangled and then tackled. Not pancaked but straight up strangled and stuffed.

Hypothetical time. This defense is legit and healthy with depth. The offense is balling out, we got audibles from Huntley, under center QBs sneaks, deceptive tempos everything I have always wanted in an offense! 11-2 seems possible…probable and a great achievement.
Worst case I think 9-3? Losing to Oregon or ASU?

I am not taking away anything from the Utah defense but did it seem odd to anyone how USC stayed committed to rush? Besides a few losses of containment on that new QB I just found USC’s game planned deeply flawed. With those wideouts you expect more throwing especially being really the only weak point for Utah.

Utah should be able to put whatever score they want up on the board. Utah’s defense is just too athletic for TDS to rush outside of the tackles. TDS only hope is to throw the ball on a bunch of heaves.

I am not worried at all because this version of Whitt as the head coach and TT calling these plays means a blowout for TDS game.

I really am most surprised by Covey. He is the number one threat. USC bracketed him after his score but Huntley punished them throwing it to everyone else. Browning sucks and their schedule was tougher than Utah’s. Utah should have won.

1- Control the LOS. Utah’s defense has done this all year. Oline has been playing really well. Huntley has also been pretty effective at getting the ball out and his side step moves are really cool.
