The Superior Program and Players.

It wouldn’t surprise me if a year from today this young man is in the portal. Oregon recruited two other highly ranked HS DLs. I know that they lost some guys on the DL, but there’s still a lot of talent there so playing time might be an issue.

That’s right…no doubt that was the perfect storm that gave him the opportunity to go there.

Thompson is even older that Cam. He’s got plenty of experience, started for Nebraska in 2022, so I’m not certain that he’s looking to be a backup. Dare I say that he’s only three months removed from having ACL surgery and missing almost the entire 2023 season?

Well, my understanding is that he’s already graduated from Utah. Would be nice to get a free Master’s degree from another quality institution.

I could see him there or Weber State. Then again, I was shocked to see Johnson get an offer from Vanderbilt. Maybe some lower tier P4 program in need of an experienced QB will offer him.

We’ll see… I’m thinking that Whitt is going to go with Rose as QB2 next season.

The only positive to that is that we’ll probably never play against him.

I’ll be in Section 219 with a thousand of my closest Ute fan friends.

I did some research and we’re staying on the end of the strip close to the stadium. Definitely don’t plan to do any driving while there.

If he does come back, then I’ll be most pleasantly surprised. It just doesn’t compute given the exigencies of the world we live in. Last guy I saw do that, and really the only guy I can recall, was Herbert who turned down a sure 1st RD grade to return to Oregon for his senior season.

Has Isaac signed yet? Last I checked, he hadn’t. Georgia probably tried to get him because they lost Dylan Raiola to Nebraska.

Yeah, I doubt it’ll be close to a sellout. Other than the game, for me the biggest treat is being able to check out the stadium.
