I’d say we’re slightly better than CU in nordic classic. We’re basically tied with them at the moment, so I would say we’re the prohibitive favorite for the natty, but it’s going to be tight. Everyone will be skiing their balls off tomorrow and it might come down to the wire.

Hello 5 straight national champs…

It’s a two-horse race now between Utah and Colorad9. One of the two teams will win the natty. We trail by 16.5 at the halfway point, but our best events are coming. It’s not going to be a blowout like the last couple of years – it’s going to come down to the wire. I wish I could be there for the last couple of days. It’s going to be intense.

I agree and disagree.

I agree that sitting MSJ all year was a total waste. But I also disagree because it sounds like it was due to the player’s choices.

At the end of the day, the whole situation just sucks because MSJ clearly could have helped the team quite a bit but he made some bad decisions and left Craig with no choice.

Every made bucket by Saunders made Craig Smith look worse and worse. Earlier this week, Craig said Saunders wasn’t playing because “he just needs to play better”. It seems now that either that was BS coachspeak and Craig is covering for something, or 25 points just isn’t good enough for a PG.

He is 4th on the team in blocks/40 minutes played (3.5)
He is 1st on the team in steals/40 minutes played (2.2)

Tarlac has work to do on the offensive end for sure, but defensively he’s right there.

This is the first I’ve heard that Exacte might transfer. Why would he do that? He’s a good fit on this team and has gotten quite a few minutes for a freshman.

The one I’m concerned about transferring is Tarlac. He might have the best pure skill set of anyone on the team but isn’t getting much PT.

Win or lose, I love this team’s defensive effort and I’m equally as disappointed that they haven’t fixed the turnover problem that has plagued them all year.

Oh I hope you’re right. I think that should be a universal rule at all sporting events: If you’re not there 1/4 of the way into the game, anyone can move into your seats. The way I see it, if you don’t care enough to get there a quarter of the way into the contest, then you don’t care about where you sit either.
