I think that our 2008 team was much better than the BYU 1984 team. We beat two teams that were ranked in the top ten in the last poll and two more that were in the top 20. In 1984 BYU beat NO ranked teams. They did beat Pitt in the first game of the season, but Pitt ended up 3-8. They beat a 6-6 Michigan in the Holiday Bowl.

Also, we will have the SUU game to get some hitting in. Not starting with a P4 team is a benefit IMO.

Whitt said we are deep across the Dline. We are strong at LB. Running against the Utes will not be easy.

IMO, it’s UCF. They have had some very good recruiting classes. It is the second largest University in the country. It’s in a great location with a ton of football talent.

On paper – I would pick you guys. But, I only saw OSU play a few times last year. Once was against a bad BYU team and you almost lost the game. If I remember right you were down 24-7 at home at half. However, you guys made a great comeback and were able to win.

He is making good money at BYU. USU is a dumpster fire right now and have serious issues with the portal and keeping players.

I think Jay Hill may have taken the job a few years ago, but today is a much different story. I would be shocked if he would consider it.
