I actually feel pretty good about the USC game.

Tough team, but these the type of teams Utah needs to beat if they want to justify a 4 seed.

but seriously I understand slowing it down, but I don’t understand givin yourself 5 secs to jack up a shot at the last second of the clock.

The Utes play much better this year when they can run and space things out. They gain confidence and everything clicks.

I’ve been so down on Taylor lately, but damn that was nice to see. Hopefully it boosts his confidence.

Say what you want about Loveridge, but at least he knocks down his open shots. Utah would be a much different team if you could say that about all of the starters.

Yeah, I don’t understand the love for him.

Would have been less a mystery had Jayce played this year. I still think it a mistake that he is going to sit this year out even if it would have only been half a year.

Hopefully 4 years from now I’ll be commenting about how lucky we are to have Jayce for 4 full years.

I have high hopes for the Bonam, Ogbe, Bealer potential. Mostly because I doubt I have any other option than to hope for improvement.

The guards have definitely been turnover machines at times, but it seems when Utah gets out of rhythm the entire team tends to get careless with the ball.

1. Will Poeltl get in foul trouble? (Yes, unfortunately this is the name of the game especially on the road)
2. Will the guards show up like they did in the past two home games? (We lose if they don’t)
3. Will Loveridge make an impact? (Yes, I think he has a big game from the 3 point range)

I’m too young to have seen to many of the great Utes, but I would have to go with KVH or Andre Miller. Great players both in college and the NBA and both seem to be great guys outside of basketball too. Both seem very proud to be Utes.

More recently I would have to say Delon Wright. Very humble kid. Hard not to root for him.

OSU was god awful at passing last year. Well…kind of at everything, but particularly bad at passing.

And they lost both QBs with starting experience & their top WR so they might be even worse next year.

All the power to him for pursuing his passion. Its his life and his body to risk. Not sure I’d make the same decision, but I completely understand the temptation to come back.

I my only wish is that he would have gone somewhere else so I could wish him good luck.

I really want to beat USC mostly because there would be a great chance Utah could be ranked and 5-0 before Arizona comes to town.

and probably destroys us…..but it’d be a fun 5 weeks!

I’m just guessing but they’re probably waiting for the weather to change before putting it up. They’ll have plenty of time before the spring game.
