my two cents worth reading between the lines is if he has a phenomenal MVP like Rose Bowl game then he will take his chances and roll the dice with the draft. If not, i.e. a subpar game or Utah gets beat (not self inflicted). He will stick around for another year. Don’t know which I will be rooting for. I really wanted him to come back because…[Read more]

Every UW and ORST fan I know absolutely HATE the ducks.
Fans from the South division you would expect pulling for the a South team since we are 1 and forever in the game.
The rest would be pulling for the underdog (figuratively) this team and Coach Whitt out of respect. You would hope.

Ethan had a season ending injury? I don’t remember hearing that

Just curious. With so many talented Freshmen getting playing time, wondering where Ethan is? Too talented at the LB positions? Injured? Is he on the depth chart?
idahoute replied to the topic Ducks or WSU in the forum Football 2 years, 5 months ago
If the goal is winning a first PAC-12 championship and getting to a first Rose Bowl then I am a WSU Cougar fan. Although, as I’ve said before I believe there is special Karma with this team (TJ/AL). Maybe beating OU in Dec. is in the cards.
idahoute started the topic Ducks or WSU in the forum Football 2 years, 5 months ago
I didn’t realize that if WSU wins at OU on Sat they will control their own destiny in the North, both teams would have a 5-2 conference record and WSU with the tiebreaker. WSU is coming off a bye and won 4 of their last 5 (loss was against tds without coaches by 2 points). Last win was impressive at ASU before the bye week.
That being said do…[Read more]

I thought the same thing on the double reverse when it happened. Stupid backyard play without any forethought or strategic setup.

Fellow Ute fans…Sad that this child doesn’t have anything better to do than read his rival’s fan blog and post lies for fun. My take? Completely ignore his posts (ZERO replies) and he will stop doing his thing, sulk off into loneliness and some day look in the mirror and realize he has amounted to nothing. What a waste of O2 on this…[Read more]

This is how I see it, for what it is worth. Every year I have a party at my place for the Y game (except this one). you know why? I knew we were going to lose. I didn’t even bother to watch it myself. Couldn’t stomach what I knew was coming. Theory: We have about 60 True, Redshirt or Covid Freshmen. Have you seen these baby faced…[Read more]

cough, cough…that would be me. For the record I would never “trash” a player, not my thing. But as an observer I didn’t like a lot of what I saw in 2019 (I’m no authority, just a former HS player and 6-9 grade coach). I don’t remember a benching comment but as I look back at the stats he did make a ton of tackles and 6.5 sacks, so I’m not…[Read more]

True, what do I know. I was wrong before. It’s weird though, we’ve had a lot of great LB’s in the program and subjectively it seems he gets a lot of clean up tackles but isn’t as disruptive in the backfield as others in the past. Whatever, just wanted to clear my conscience and on the record state he is a great player. Will see what the NFL…[Read more]

Not that anyone remembers or D.Llyod cares but last year and this year pre-season I was a little bit critical and big time skeptical of the LB’s abilities. I have obviously been proven wrong (I even stated I hoped as much) with his 1st team All Pac-12 honor. I still wish he had stayed in coverage preventing the final score in the UW game but…[Read more]
