ParticipantNot that it would help out of state fans at all, but I start to miss the times when almost all our games were on KJZZ with lengthy pre-game and post-game coverage.

ParticipantLast year I watched almost every game on YouTube. Standard, good old fashion YouTube. Someone from overseas streamed it.

ParticipantIt is very interesting to think of all of these changes in college football that would appear to be progressive and innovative, yet they can’t solve the how to make it easier and convenient for its fans to watch games on tv. Feels like we’re sliding backwards with this instead of making it a better experience. I would think that the average fan would even pay more if the games were consolidated to one channel or network rather than have to sift through 6 of them to watch a few games. I suppose they haven’t learned yet that convenience is a premium that people will pay for!!!

ParticipantThis is a needed discussion. My needs go beyond just watching, I want to add the ability to DVR games. Going backwards, in the Pac, I could record all Utah games with one request for the year on Xfinity with no regard to channels. I could be 30 minutes late to start the Utah game while watching another finish and be live by halftime. I could easily record the games of the significant other Pac games, and always the team one week out (goodness, I miss the 60 minute replays). I hate to be tied to live games other than when in the stadium. There is simply too much going on on Saturday when the Utes are on the road with national games to not use the DVR. Last, for me is also the basketball team schedule and on occasion the woman’s BB games. Is there a DVR option that provides this coverage. A personal problem I have been slow to fix since leaving the Pac.

Participant“Real G’s move in silence like lasagna.” I think a lot of our fans who have been loud and outspoken these past two seasons are rightfully being more reserved this year.
Utah football needs to get its swagger back and putting in quiet work without hype is a nice change of pace.
I am really excited to have a new QB under center, a new playcaller on the offensive side of things, and what appears to be a new energy among the players.
I really believe it is going to be a fun season and I can’t wait for the cooler weather to finally get here.

ParticipantThanks Data. A few days ago, I did a Google Maps recon of the area and I was able to find two theoretical free places to park within walking walking distance of the stadium. One was the parking lot in the Little Leagues Field, which is a 16 minute walk to the stadium. The other was the Campus Express Shuttle parking lot, which is an eight minute walk to the stadium. What I’ll probably do when I get there on Friday is head to both those places and ask around to see what the real deal is.

ParticipantThis. I also live in AZ. NFL makes it impossible unless you get nfl network/redzone or watch illegal streams.

ParticipantNo he wasn’t. An elite QB gets a first round draft projection. The best I ever saw for Cam was 4th round. He was a gamer for sure but there was no elite arm there.

ParticipantWho said Travis was elite? Beach certainly didn’t.

ParticipantGood points Beach. I think the 2019 team and the 2022 teams had a lot more talent. Moss and Thomas were big running backs and they wore the defense down. A good running game can make a QBs job much easier. Both Rising and Huntley were exceptional leaders. Dampier seems to have the same leadership qualities and is a dynamic player. I think after the Texas Tech game we will have a better idea of his and the teams talent and ability to win games. I’m optimistic this team can win over 8 games. I’m putting my $$$ on the over 7.5 wins.
