Wasn’t he the starting QB for Michigan when we played them 3 years ago at RES?

I know he started the 1st game for UCLA as a transfer from Michigan, but he got injured early.  The other QB got injured early Saturday and Speight came back in to play.  He didn’t look bad in the AU game from what I saw.  We need to put some pressure on him and force some mistakes.

      Go Utes!!!

Ucla has been playing better the last couple weeks but they likely have the worst O-line we’ll see all year. We should be able to pressure him

The UCLA D-Line was quite seivelike, especially in the second half, versus Arizona.   They allowed 289 yards rushing.  Let me say that again: 289 freaking yards RUSHING.  Arizona averaged 7.6 yards per carry.

It wasn’t just Arizona’s offense, UCLA ranks #86 in FBS in team rushing defense allowing 177 yards per game, 3.9 yards per carry.   Utah is #2 in team rushing defense allowing just 75 yards per game, 2.4 yards per carry.

We’re actually the #1 rushing defense after last week…

No. He was the backup when Michigan came to Utah. Their QB for that game was Rudock.

We didn’t play Speight against Michigan, we played a senior transfer that beat out Speight at the time.
