I think you’re right. I also think the reason he’s dropping is his sheer arrogance and distraction that he and his father will cause an organization.

Awesome! Not that this will stop the tdS from tampering with him. He’ll be Junior this year, so barring an early exit to the NFL’s 2026 draft, they’ll do it again.

I just don’t see the point of piling on. Whichever team eventually drafts him — and he will be drafted — will be getting a steal. And Sanders may likely even end up at a better team. And as this should most certainly humble and motivate him, this could experience could very well benefit his professional career.

caliman stepped away from his keyboard and is throwing a temper tantrum and balling his eyes out because Snowden didn’t take TDS’s NIL. He stayed loyal to Utah and honored his commitment

I’m so glad I’m reading this from Yergensen instead of caliman.

We’re on to the 3rd Rd and still no sign of Sanders…there’s got to be plenty of holes in his game for a guy with as much tape as he has to fall so far down the draft. Well, that and the fact that the NFL doesn’t like prima donnas with defects.

This is awesome. Is anybody else having fun watching Sanders continue to slide? Even more hilarious after all the criticism for prematurely retiring his jersey.

Caleb replied to the topic For now, only way TDS can beat Utah is NIL in the forum Football 3 months ago
Let’s be honest: Utah fans would hate NIL a lot less if we had the resources other schools appear to have.
Like, let’s be honest: no one was thinking, “gosh, it’s not fair Utah took New Mexico’s OC and their starting QB…”
BYU is on the upswing. The program was DOA but the incompetence of the Pac-12, their refusal to expand with the leftover…[Read more]

Utah1,
You’ve got to give the BYU rhetoric a rest. I don’t love that they have embraced NIL like they have but I don’t see anything evil about it. There are existential reasons why perpetuating this wild, wild West system is a bad thing. At least I feel that way. But any program and donors choosing to play -even at lower levels, is part of that…[Read more] -

Seriously! Can you believe those crazy people at TDS doing…. exactly what every other school in college sports is doing. You are living in a bubble if you think this is something exclusive to BYU. Perhaps you live in Utah and do not see that literally every school (including UTAH) are buying recruits as best they can.
Look, I am not a fan of…[Read more]

If he was as good as he thinks he is, someone would have taken a chance on him by now. The fact that we’re seeing QB’s like Tyler Shough drafted before Shedeur is a pretty good indicator that he’s just not all that. Certainly not worth the ridiculous circus that is sure to follow him.
There’s a line between confident and absurdly arrogant, and…[Read more]

Sanders one of those guys that, in the past, would ask for 1st Rd money because that’s where he should have been drafted. I’m not sure where he goes but he does seem to have a black cloud over his head at the moment.

Caleb replied to the topic For now, only way TDS can beat Utah is NIL in the forum Football 3 months ago
NIL is going to neutralize Utah’s strengths since they’re very good at finding undervalued talent and turning them into really good players. In the NIL era, unfortunately those players are going to want bigger NIL deals and if Utah can’t match, those players are likely to leave the program at their pinnacle and Utah won’t be able to reap the…[Read more]

IMO, TDS hasn’t been able to compete or truly beat Utah in over two decades because the football program has produced and fielded solid teams over that span of time. To me, the credit for that success goes to the coaching staff, past student athletes, and the “family culture” at Utah. I say “for now,” because I don’t believe TDS’s NIL advantage…[Read more]

I saw this video and immediately felt empathy for the Shadeur Sanders of the future, realizing just how pathologically tone deaf he had been to build a shrine to his “legendary” status before ever having played in a single NFL game. Then I reminded myself who his dad was and remembered that that day will never happen.
