Jimmer-lite? Sorry, sounds like an ethusiastic, high-effort kid; as a walk-on maybe the effort and enthusiasm will carry over to the scholarship guys — or best case scenario he can defend AND shoot, thus getting him a scholarship in the future.
Looked at his video and he has a very odd shot, off balance leaning backward with his body while pushing the ball forward on this 3-pointers. Creates space by stepping backward which adds to the impression he’s about to fall over backwards — some learned behavior from when he was younger??? IMHO, that style is doomed in NCAA, will have to be fixed.
