Very generous. I don’t think we beat any of the teams we are ranked in front of with our current team. Maybe SMU.

Yeah we’ll take it. Helps recruiting and all that… But is this reality? Not so sure.

I think it is if Utah is fully healthy (Rising, Reid and O’Toole).

If Rising is fully healthy, we are top 10.

I would agree with you on that! I believe Rising’s presence alone, on the field, is a huge difference maker for Utah.

It could be our reality, but we won’t truly know for sure until Rising comes back, if he does? And O’Toole and Reid are back. It is just different when Rising plays, the whole team plays like a top 10 team that seems virtually unstoppable.

These polls mean absolutely nothing right now, especially with all the upsets that happened yesterday. We are not the 16th best team in the country with Wilson at the helm. Indiana, Pitt, Navy, Army, Illinois, and Boise State all have better resumes than us, and deserve to be ranked higher.

Agreed, our wins do not look good and our loss looks awful

Bunch of negative nancies up in here. Take it for what it is. Respect. You think the voters don’t know we are hobbling through the season? Yet our program has earned the benefit of the doubt from the voters. This is the same boost that the blue bloods get every year- Do you think that ND or U$C complain about the free publicity they get by being ranked higher then they maybe deserve? All the carnage yesterday showed that there is parity this season – nobody is unbeatable.

Amen Hoosier. I appreciate the comparison and insight.

It’s nice getting the benefit of the doubt. This must be how the blue bloods feel when they’re having an off year and still getting favorable rankings.
