And we have people thinking UCLA as a much improved team. Nope.
I think UCLA has been playing better, and they have a shot at winning the south. They also have some talent at the skill positions. I think that number is high.
Hasn’t Utah covered the spread in every game this season outside of SC?
No Utah is 6-3 ATS
Edit: Didn’t cover vs USC, IDST or NIU.
Small quibble… It’s only 6-3 and not 8-1 because Utah pulled starters against IDST and NIU and purposely stopped scoring.
No idea why people are worried about UCLA
Battered Fan Syndrome. We’ve been in this position before and s**t our pants a few times.
It’s because we’ve lost to worse teams than 2019 UCLA. Like 2014 Washington St. Or 2011 Colorado. Or 2007 UNLV.
Any team can beat any other team in this league, and UCLA will be our toughest opponent on the remainder of our regular season schedule. Can’t take it lightly.
None of those people live in Vegas, apparently 😉
Same people who didn’t think Cal would get shut out probably worry about fUCLA. Or that Utah wouldn’t score more than 21 against Cal and need a kicker. Huntley is going to be pretty healthy and probably practices fully this week.
Having played sports in high school, I worry about every game. I believe the Utes’ coaches do as well. I just hope the players stay focused and believe that if they do we will win this week’s game. Do the same next week and get that same result and so on and so on…… Go Utes!!!
At least Oregon was able to move up. We’ll be needing Oregon to be ranked as high as possible, as a victory over them would make us look better.
Go Ducks!
GO UTES!!!
