about who is staying and going.
The fact that he has not brought in a QB or TE portal transfer could make you believe that he feels like Rising and Kuithe are returning. He did say that nothing is certain until the deadline has passed.
I gotta think we could have gotten Holker if we has pursued him hard. But, I am sure Holker would not want to play second fiddle to Kuithe.
Would we want a kid who thinks he’s too good to play second fiddle to Kuithe? (See Kincaid, Dalton)
There is plenty going on behind the scenes ALWAYS. The coaches know what’s happening 90% of the time and usually well in advance. Kids are kids and they can make crazy decisions out of the blue, but for the most part the staff has known for a while what is likely to happen.
Just know there are some “eyebrow raising” options in play…both internally and outside the program and I’m very excited to watch it unfold before mid Jan.
You can’t throw us a couple of freakin’ bones..LOL?
Yeah wtf haha, what a cliffhanger OnlyU! Hope these are good things
I’ve been pretty consistent with saying I thought most of those guys come back. What they WANT is one thing. What makes sense is another. Highly likely there is a lot more guaranteed money in coming back so I believe they will.
There are a couple of absolute studs that we are still involved with and looking to bring in before this class is done. Worrying about Holker or Traore going elsewhere is kind of a waste of time IMO.
We are being very picky with the remaining couple of spots but we won’t be disappointed with any of the options on the table.
Walker Lyons. Blink once for yes, twice for no.
Lol…fingers crossed for Walker and we definitely have a good shot with him but I have both eyes open on some other guys as well! The staff has worked hard to be in the position they’re in and I expect them to capitalize on the success.
We’re probably heavy by a couple of spots right now so more jostling to take place but I think it will work itself out.
