for me it’s not so much about his being a TSPP alum as it is him just being a really REALLY unlikeable person. He’s pretty much the dictionary definition of a douchebag.
Dude went to prom at his old high school when he was the starting QB at BYU… with TWO dates. I don’t hope for people to fail, but I think it’s hilarious that he is where he is…[Read more]

Meh… I’ve always wondered why he got so much PT. Not a big loss tbh.

I heard he was the quick PG we’ve been searching for… Worster is just a taller, somehow slower version of Rylan Jones.
So what’s the deal, why no Saunders? -
chinngiskhaan replied to the topic I would do everything we possibly can to get an elite transfer WR and or TE in the forum Football 2 years, 7 months ago
that’s true, but he’s not really a traditional WR type either. I just want a dominant WR who can go out and get a catch when we need. Have we EVER had someone like that? Carrington was pretty close, but he also wasn’t much of a deep threat.

Our team would be sooooo much better if we had even 1 wide receiver that was capable of taking over a game. Vele has been fine, but the fact that he is our best WR since Carrington is ludicrous. I don’t care if they are a slot receiver, a deep threat… whatever, just a WR that is capable of winning 1 on 1 matchups every single time.
If that…[Read more] -
chinngiskhaan replied to the topic We are bad on the road. Who’s at fault? in the forum Football 2 years, 7 months ago
Have you considered that maybe the team just isn’t good enough to beat more talented teams on the road? Our offense, in it’s current injured state, is severely lacking in the talent department.

Their situation really reminds me of us heading into the Pac12… Except I think they are going to struggle much more than we did (unless they pull a rabbit out of a hat via the transfer portal, and hire a better DC).
They are most likely losing all of their most important pieces on offense (Hall, Nacua, a couple offensive linemen), and what is…[Read more] -

Came here to post this. Sam Houston has proven that they are a solid team… The Utes have proven no such thing.

If we run 20 more plays than Oregon and win TOP by 10 minutes, we absolutely win. How is that even a question?

Earlier in the year we didn’t play this well against bad teams. This team is improving despite missing several key contributors and an injured Rising.
Making Oregon prepare for Tavion is a HUGE win. I don’t really do game result predictions, I’m just saying this game was exactly what we needed before the big one.

Coaching: Came out a bit flat on offense against a team we knew we would dominate. There has been one or two of you here doubting Scalley’s coaching ability the last several weeks. I think it’s clear after last night that he is doing an excellent job with this defense. They are head and shoulders above where they were at the beginning of the year.…[Read more]

Disagree regarding Kincaid. If we need him going forward then why would we bother using him as “just a decoy” if he is still healing up? Better to rest him and let him heal up completely

Oh boy… you guys are really struggling with the whole reading thing today, aren’t you. I didn’t say a single negative thing about Smith. I think he is clearly a better coach than LK… it’s not his fault the program was ran into the ground by the previous coach.

chinngiskhaan replied to the topic Hunter Erickson in the forum Basketball (Men) 2 years, 8 months ago
Who said he hurts the team? We needed better shooting, and TSPP’s leftovers were the best we could do. For Erickson it was pretty much a toss up whether to play for the Utes or SLCC.
I didn’t say he won’t make us better (or will make us better). I didn’t say it was wrong to sign him. I’m just saying players like him are not going to help us…[Read more]

Transfers from TSPP to Utes. Rarely played in 2 years for them. Shot 50% from three.
We have been relegated to taking tspp’s leftovers to fill our needs. Awesome. That should be enough to complete in the Pac12.
Dr. Hill screwed the program over real good with that terrible LK contract.

My dad called me after he saw Johnson out there. He was floored when I told him Johnson is a true Freshman. The only thing that worries me is that pretty much the only thing Whitt will say about him is that he’s still learning how to play QB at this level (which is perfectly fine, it just makes things a little more unsure).
He could definitely be…[Read more]

TE: Kuithe, Kincaid
OL: Not sure here, I’m sure there are at least two that I don’t remember though.
DL: Fillinger (our #1 DE)

Because reasons basically.
“the mindset that this team…”
“physicality…”
“cohesive…”
That is classic player speak. It’s the equivalent of teammates “flying around” in football.
LOLZ… I mean, the team probably will be a little better this year. We got rid of Battin finally, so that’s an automatic plus… but the only thing that would…[Read more] - Load More
