Goodness guys, a little reading comprehension goes a long way. I specifically said that I’m fine with the team being 0-2. If you read my last post you would know that I think this team has a bright future.

Accurate? Some of his throws were accurate, one was um… not accurate

avoiding the rush doesn’t help if you just chuck it downfield into double coverage every time you avoid a sack. Everything about Bentley is bad bad bad. We would have been more effective putting a punt returner back there to avoid the rush and at least try to gain some yards on the ground rather than turning it over time and time again.

I have to wonder if Ludwig and Co knew our offensive line was in big trouble, which is why they went so vanilla with the plays.

Reps or not, he seemingly does not have a very strong or accurate arm. They say they picked Rising because he was more accurate… Rising, the guy who threw the ball 5 feet over someone’s head on an easy screen route… Bentley is a bad QB, there is no other way to swing it.

This is what I don’t understand. If we can recruit guys talented enough to give us the best defensive line in the Pac12 nearly every year, why can we not recruit similar talent on the offensive line? There were a few times when Kuithe could have scored if he had just been thrown the ball. Bentley was playing scared all night.

Agree on all of your points. As bad as that was, it could have been SO MUCH worse. We really aren’t far from being a good team.
