Totally disagree on Chapman. He was bad at basketball in college. He had a strange habit of staring down the ball as it was in the air on his shots rather than the front of the rim like every basketball player ever. Could not or would not put on weight…
Daniels and Tillman could have helped but they would have been bench players imo
What is…[Read more]

The team as a whole may have stumbled, but I will not fault individual players for that. Zack in particular gave everything he had. I can’t think of someone to better represent the UofU and the state of Utah. Great man!

11-3 with a humiliating loss in the Pac12 CCG, and an even worse loss to a 7-5 team in the Alamo bowl?
If you just heard 11-3, you likely would have assumed that we won the south, and maybe possibly won the CCG as well, only to lose in the Rose Bowl. You may not assume that, but it would be a possibility, therein lies the reasoning for being…[Read more]

Meh… They may have let Oregon beat them twice, but the second loss was meaningless. The second they lost that game to Oregon the season was over. That last loss doesn’t make the season any more disappointing than it already was. Any fan that thought they would show up and play their best at the Alamo Bowl needs to see a shrink.

Yeah, the bowl game was completely pointless, and the players all knew it.

JJ would be good across from Weddle #3

Yes, I would still pick Alex. He has proven his talent at an NFL level. He also had solid mobility.
I said Weddle because he could play either CB or corner and we need both. No defensive linemen because that is always a strength.

Pick 4 former guys to play on the upcoming football team. Who are you picking?
its gotta be the two smiths (Alex and Steve), Weddle, and Jordan gross. Our two best ever skill players, our best overall player ever (weddle plays safety and corner and is a phenomenal leader), and our best OL ever.
for last year’s team I would have picked 4…[Read more] -

I can’t count the number of times I heard something to the effect of “Leach is a national treasure” this year. He’s just a pretty good coach that also likes to hear himself talk.
I’d love to see him coach in the SEC where he would be routinely embarrassed until he gets canned.

Disagree. His thing got old a long time ago. He is fake AF.

A lot to like about this basketball team. Clearly we have youth related issues at times, but the team plays hard and has talent.
Jantunen continues to impress me with his hustle. Jones has better vision than any college point guard I remember watching (too young for Andre in college). Imagine how good he’ll be as a senior with other experienced…[Read more]

I don’t mind Brumfield, I just don’t want him to be the feature back. We need someone that can break off big runs. Brumfield is not that guy. IDGAF what he did in high school. He’s a solid back, but he has been the opposite of explosive.
And yes, we agree on the so poo poo offensive line.

We’ve been seeing the same guys suit up for several years. I am ready for some new faces. The defense will have a lot of WTF moments but it will be our most athletic defense ever. The offense should have more explosive potential than we’ve had since joining the Pac12.
i have a few hopes. I want to see a smaller more athletic player get PT in the…[Read more] -

I won’t be shocked if we don’t play well next year, but I don’t think the way they performed in garbage time is really a fair way to gauge their ability. Almost every player out there plays better when they are playing in the role they are prepared for.
I don’t believe we will have as good a defense as this year, but we will still have a top 3 D…[Read more]
