You can call it burning his redshirt or just call it did not play – coaches decision. In truth, going into the season with Barnes should have been enough. If Rose and/or Johnson beats him out, even better. Barnes is in his 3rd year in the program and they know exactly what he can and can’t do. It might not have looked pretty, but it should never have been bottom 6 offense in the nation bad.
