I thought he’d been benched but didn’t want to commit.
Perfect example of Utah breaking a highly recruited kid with it’s defense. Damn near did it to Jayden Daniels and Thompson-Robinson also. Most of these kids have never had to deal with the kind of pressure that a defense like Utah’s can put on them. It takes time to learn how to handle it…[Read more]

Walker was different. Yes it was his 2nd transfer but he hadn’t reached graduate status yet. Rising can transfer every year he still has eligibility left since he’s made it to graduate so the number of transfers no longer applies.

The list of coaches who were in the category of “if they only were at a top school with unlimited resources” that also failed miserably is pretty long. For every Chris Petersen I’ll give you 25 Neal Brown’s.
To Eagle’s point: Whitt has been in the position for 19 years. Every aspect of the program has his fingerprints on it. He’s put forth the…[Read more]

The opponents have been keying the run since Utah got into the PAC, if not before. Why would this year be any different for the O Line?
Utah was at least able to have an offense that was complimentary to the defense and special teams with Jon Hayes, Travis Wilson and Troy Williams at QB. Why does the team require great QB play this year?

True Freshman coming off surgery and not enrolling until summer workouts? If that’s your plan B, you need to clean out your QB room asap. If Wilson isn’t plan F for 2024, you need to admit that you’ve completely mismanaged the position group and start over in the portal.

I’d imagine any of the 4 schools going to the B1G would love to have him. 3 are losing their starters and I’m not sure if Moore at UCLA is injured or benched.
Rising won’t have a guaranteed job if he transfers but he shouldn’t if he stays either. Having a proven winner in a “contract year” is a pretty good option. If he can’t beat out the guys…[Read more]

Deepest, most talented line in the history of Utah is pretty much the quote

He can transfer or stay at Utah. Whether he plays at either depends on the NCAA and typically that decision wouldn’t come until next summer.

Playing them every year moving forward is more than enough. No reason to go out of the way to get even more games against them.
Give the kids more of a reward than travelling 1,000 miles to play a school that is 45 minutes away from your home stadium like they had to in 2015.

When did it become okay to call out the coaches?
The GOAT hired Harding —> The GOAT has never made a mistake —> Harding is the best OL coach ever
Why do you want to Fire Whitt?

That’s quite the ratio. Definitely found impactful WR transfers this season which were able to significantly upgrade the room and the overall performance.

Who is this “we” you speak of?
8-4 has been the correct prediction since January. Anything above that is gravy

Can an upvote also be a BOOOOO! I agree with your premise but I will be very unhappy if it happens again.

I loaded it again but I had the right link. One of the things about 247 is how they format their pages so the last link took you to the bottom of the article. It’s set for the top now.

Rose has already burned his redshirt last year. If you want to play him, why make his first experience against UW in a must win?

He was a starter there for 3 years and never showed anything close to what he’s done at Oregon. Unless you think Harsin was finally going to unlock his potential that he couldn’t their first year together, Nix moving on was the best thing for everyone involved.

One scenario that would work for Utah would be:
10/4: UW @ USC
10/4: UCLA @ Arizona
10/11: Utah @ UW
10/11: USC @ Oregon
10/18: UW @ Oregon State
10/18: Utah @ Arizona
10/18: UCLA @ USC
10/24: Oregon State @ OregonThat requires 7 of the 8 road teams winning but would put 8-1 Washington in a rematch against 7-2 Utah with no tie-breakers…[Read more]
