If those edge angles don’t give you a quarter chub, do you really ski?

In football terms: It’s 35-7 Utah at halftime.

They ended the game on a 7-0 run to win by 2. Impressive!

They say defense travels. It does, but sometimes the Runnin Utes have been guilty of forgetting to pack their defense. They definitely packed it on this trip.

Bottom line: 20 regular-season wins and don’t get knocked out in round 1 of the conference tournament and we’re in.

I was also worried about Tarlac’s future on the team, but last night was kind of a breakout game for him. He didn’t get a ton of minutes but he did some VERY nice things in every facet of the game: Scoring, assisting, stealing, rebounding.

I think he will continue to earn more minutes and carve out a spot for himself going forward.

Practice habits.

I’m super bummed because it’s a near certainty he’s going to transfer. I think he would have been the starter in the post-Wooster era but apparently he can’t get his work rate up to the level of his talent.

Pretty much every team has their achilles’ heel. Just ask USC football.

Good hell that game was fun.

Keba was in a walking boot after the game. If I had to guess (based on the boot and the replay of the injury) I’d say high ankle sprain.

Anyone know if this would affect all teams or just football? Utah was one of the first all Under Armour schools in the country, and still one of the few schools that has all teams in the same brand.

On a related note, why does Under Armour have a needless “u” in their name? The company is based in Baltimore – do they wish they were British or something?

Suddenly makes our kicking woes seem not so bad…

We’re more than halfway through the season and us fans are acting like we’re just discovering what this team is.

They are exactly who they’ve been all year: Good rebounding, good defending, poor shooting.

Does anyone have any idea as to why all other PAC teams can beat the Ducks except for Utah?

Yeah…all other PAC teams can score. Utah hasn’t put up 90 points on anyone who’s not Little Sisters of the Poor in about 8 seasons.

Yeah they are. We knew this would a problem way back in preseason and it has proven to be the case.

Nevertheless, the rebuild is still ahead of schedule. You start a rebuild with defense because it’s easier to destroy than to create, and the defense is well ahead of the curve. Scorers come next.

Occasionally I feel like we need a reminder that the primary mission of a university is to educate and graduate students, not play football games.

I’ll take them off for you.

Remember how that secondary looked against Penn St.? That’s how it’s likely to look next year without CPIII.

On the flip side, think of how much more good we could do if all the athletic money went into academics.
