Luckily, half the time, BYU-P’s team can’t find their ass with both hands. Like, way worse than Utah. And they’re due for a bad one.

Old school stereotypes of the LDS Church reflecting on Utah as a state.
In this age of enlightenment and easy access to knowledge, (for example) there are still people in America who honestly believe Mormons have horns. Until that kind of thinking goes away, there will always be a perception problem. -

Spurs nation calling for Poeltl to be the starting center on social media and radio. Raptors fans responding with “why’s it taking you so long to realize that?”
Lots of love for Poeltl around the association right now! -
GameForAnyFuss replied to the topic Holy crap, Utah’s schedule is so easy next year. in the forum Football 6 years, 7 months ago
I’ve decided that there’s no such thing as an easy schedule in the PAC12. There will be teams we’re overlooking right now that will overachieve and become difficult games.
Take ASU or WSU this year. Before the season, not a single one of us thought those games would give us any trouble, but both teams turned out to be pretty good and we lost both…[Read more] -

I’m still shaking my head. Bronco was the second-best coach they’ve ever had and ran a pretty clean ship off the field…and the fans ran him out of town on a rail.
They deserve whatever failure they achieve because of that one simple act. -
GameForAnyFuss replied to the topic Ticket Sales in the forum Football 6 years, 7 months ago
Harlan was on Bill Reilly earlier today practically begging Utah fans to buy through the school. When 700 posted it on Twitter, every single response was basically “why would I do that when I can get better seats at a better price elsewhere?”
So this is just Harlan trying to sweeten the deal. Really the issue lies with the way tickets are for bowl…[Read more] -

I would just wait for someone to turn up pregnant or in a fight at a sub sandwich place and let it hit the media. More fun that way.

GameForAnyFuss replied to the topic Ticket Sales in the forum Football 6 years, 7 months ago
No, they’re doing it because they’ve realized that you can get better tickets cheaper through a third party. Unfortunately the sales number they use to tell the bowl folks “see… told you we would travel well” is how many tickets are sold through the U ticket office.
This is simply the U’s way of convincing us to buy through the U ticket office…[Read more] -

Ken what’s-his-face declined because Holmoe insisted that Detmer be the OC. He knew that the Detmer experiment would end in disaster because he’s a smart guy and a good football coach.
Holmoe is the gift that keeps on giving. -

GameForAnyFuss replied to the topic Why Huntley shouldn't play in the bowl game….A Doctor's Opinion in the forum Football 6 years, 7 months ago
I did my collarbone about 10 years ago. Couldn’t have surgery because of the location of the break. It was 2 months before there was good union, 6 months before it felt “right”, and a year before I regained full range of motion.
I hear that timetable is reduced if you have surgery. Anyone know if he had surgery? -

According to the book “The First 90 Days” (I highly recommend it, BTW, to anyone who’s starting a new job), one of the keys for a new leader is to secure an early win. This is definitely Mark’s early win.
Now, if he can get BYU-P permanently off the schedule in every sport, I’ll personally fund his raise and advocate for a lifetime contract.

GameForAnyFuss replied to the topic Huntley to start? in the forum Football 6 years, 7 months ago
No way. Even if he’s 100%, and even if he were clearly the better QB (which I’m not sure he is), I would stay with Shelley. For no other reason than familiarity and timing with the rest of the offense. A bowl game like this is no time for rust or warming up or getting the feel of things. Gotta go with Shelley IMO.
