Probably have heard this by now, good chance of snow or rain mixed with snow, temperatures in the mid-to-upper 30s. If that holds visualize snow in the air but melting when it reaches the ground. Like Boulder but possibly as much as 10 degrees warmer. Wind NW at 10 mph, wind chill in the low 30s.

Near the belt loops? Whenever I hear of Levi’s Stadium I’m thinking the seats are like the old Levi’s Gremlin.

When I lived in the area some places, including Ft Collins, were using some sort of ash which made for lots of dirty snow and cars. Boulder was mostly relying on the “solar plow”; sand in the intersections.

Some warmer air aloft above the shallow sub-freezing air at the surface cold lead to some freezing rain in the early morning hours on Saturday. If you’re driving to Boulder from elsewhere in NE Colorado you might want to allow some additional time to get to the stadium, though I image CoDOT will treat the Interstates. Mignt be another factor…[Read more]

Yeah, and instead of burning oil or gas burn the crushed spirits of the zoobies. Or maybe some the surplus “essential oils” they have in their garage.

PlainsUte started the topic Weather for Boulder in the forum Football 6 years, 5 months ago
Long range forecasting for Boulder is dicey as they are right on the edge of a cold air mass being reinforced this weekend. Latest trends are more bullish on bringing the front into Boulder early Saturday morning, resulting in temps in the upper 20s to low 30s with clouds and a chance of snow in the afternoon. North to northeast wind 10-15…

Bond is a loan that has to be paid back, with interest. If SLC is going to issue the bonds, then the taxpayers are paying for it, but I thought the University was issuing bonds for the Athletic Department. Athletic Department would be on the hook to pay off the bonds over time (usually 5-10 years for a capital project) — generally they would…[Read more]

Listening while doing some paperwork at work. The Utes hung with the gophers pretty well at the start, had one dry spell but then a 9-0 run to catch-up. Toward the end of the half Minnesota had their own run and the fans got warmed up and into the game, and the Northern Rodents were able to open up the 7 point lead. PVD 3-pointer to cut it to 4…[Read more]

Generally the weather in Boulder in November can be dicey but current indications are that conditions will be similar to SLC for the Oregon game, maybe 5 degrees warmer. Still don’t know kickoff time, so stay tuned.
