TCU was 5-7 last year and just not very good.  A new coach came in and went to the portal big time.  USC did the same thing.  We are seeing a new era in college football.  A national contender can be built in one year if you can get the portal players.

They compared it to how the NFL does things.  In the NFL there are very strict rules on free agency.  The players union and the owners have come together to have a defined process.

Football Player Dies

They are keeping pressure on him.  They aren’t sacking him but making him feel uncomfortable in the pocket.  We should learn from this because we have these guys on the road next season.
UW has done enough to take a 13-3 lead at the half.  But, Texas needs to run and their top two RBs aren’t playing tonight

That comes as a surprise to me.  Regardless, we should be deep at safety. 

He is getting closer to a decision. He is getting pressure from the coaches and recruiting staff.

In short, Utah’s transformation from a middling WAC program to a Pac-12 power has been nothing short of remarkable. Spread the credit around, from Whittingham to his predecessors Urban Meyer and Ron McBride, along with the university administration, the actual players and, yes, you the fan.

The PAC12 could be very good next year.
– USC returns Heisman winner Williams and looks to have improved overall.
– Oregon returns Heisman candidate Bo Nix and they have improved their team via recruiting and the portal.

I know this season has not been exactly what many of us expected/hoped, but we won another PAC12 championship and are going to the Rose Bowl for the second straight year.  It’s good to be a Ute football fan in 2022.

That is the type of competitor Eric Weddle is.  He will give everything he has all the time.  He kept playing in the Super Bowl after an early injury that would have kept almost everyone else out.  AT the end of his career at Utah, he was playing defense, special teams, and offense.  He did whatever it took to help his team.
