A number of players on this year’s team have no choice, their time is up, e.g., Kincaid, Enis, Dixon, Gabe Reid, Kaufusi, Hubert, Diabate, etc.

Who would have expected that a pig farmer from a town of 1400 people would end up being a Pac12 starting QB?  Milford High has just over 200 students that includes 7th-12th grade.  Barnes is quite a story.  He is no Cam Rising but somehow led us to victory on the road.

Both teams have become pass-first teams.  That’s not what Utah wants to be, but KW admits that is what we are right now.

These guys were gutsy last night. I’m impressed that they did not give up. I’m very proud of Rising and Kincaid.  They had amazing games. We may never play USC in SLC again. This was a great way to send them packing. 

That’s how they built a good team in year one.  
A year ago these guys were playing for Oregon, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Alabama, Washington, etc.

We are not the team that many of us hoped we would be.  It is not just what we saw yesterday, it is the season as a whole.

Our kickoff team sucks!!!
We must have the weakest kicker in all of the FBS.  He cannot get it in the endzone.
Then our kick coverage is pathetic.  It set UCLA up in good field position all day long.

But, our defense is just not very good.  Against OSU we had 4 PIs and that was great, but outside of that, we did not stop them.  Add to that – UCLA’s play calling was amazing.  They mixed it up and exploited our weaknesses.

The defense looks terrible.  The offense looks very good except they have blown opportunities.
Somehow, Scalley and team need to figure out a way to stop the Bruins.

But, if we rush for less than 100 – I think we lose.
We need to figure out how to be productive in the running game today.  We can and will pass effectively IMO, but I think we need more to win in Pasadena today.
