The last two seasons were pretty damn predictable. Right in the range I expected them to be in (really good, not great but painfully close). Having such a big unknown(s) is incredibly excited and also deathly terrifying. Cant wait to watch this team line up

I think UCLA should be legitimately contending for the final 4. They will underachieve and finish somewhere around 10-15.

UCLA is the pretty clear favorite, Us USC and the Arizonas are pretty much all wild cards. I predict Colorado does not finish last. We could be the ones taking their place. I also think we have a great chance to win it all if Troy is for real (and our LBs arent awful)

in other minimally related news, Max Wittek (insanely hyped former USC recruit, who transferred to Hawaii and struggled) is getting NFL reps. Went 1 for 8 for 20 yards and a pick. Teams are really scraping the bottom of the barrel at QB these days.

im just glad someone separated themselves from the pack. Its a reason for optimism but mostly im just hopeful as hell hes the real deal. I want to see him play live D1 games before I jump on the hype train

I think we have a talented stable of WRs, and, outside of last year, have had such. WRs are always going to look worse with a QB who is afraid/unable to let routes develop and all you run are quick slants and bubble screens

If our secondary doesnt improve and our run defense suffers as we arent able to even come close to replacing Norris and Paul, and if our QB situation actually deteriorates with an inexperienced QB under C, I could see us losing to…

Im not sure Hackett has the leg for the NFL. Hes getting a shot because of his accuracy and touch but im not sure he has the hangtime with a straight kick to last.
