Nope…..Sorry. Unless the Utes win the pac-12 champ and make the tourney I’ll eat crow. Three straight years is unacceptable. Every year we give him a pass for some reason. Every year. I’m not even asking for a tourney birth every year but at least 1 of 3 years or every other year. This is more a product of the pac being garbage.

Larry has a much easier road than Kyle. He only needs 5/6 solid guys. Plus pac basketball is far less competitive. We are looking better because the pac is garbage. K does this every year. S****The bed in the off season. Gets up excited during conference season. Loses early in the tournament goes to the NIT. If this wa want other position I wouldn’t care. But our best receiver is covey. Who is amazing. But come on. We’re going to the rose bowl with covey. Agreed. But utah needs kids like this. Receivers. We have underperformed for so long. It’s the one area of the team that we do not have the horses. This year could change just with him and jones. It’s a big deal.

I have a weird feeling. Not getting hopes up. But I think we might be alright.

Talent seems to have greatly diminished too. Interesting.

Because the weakness area of our entire team is receiver. And this kid is legit. Covey on steroids. Would start day one. That’s why. Utah needs this kid.

His mom wants him to stay home. Obviously she will support whatever decesion he makes but we will see. I think Utah has as good a chance as Oregon and UW.
