But how would you feel about being in a western division of the ACC with Cal, Stanford, ASU, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon State, Washington State, SMU, and SDSU?

I like the Big 12, but an ACC like that would be at least as good, maybe even better, assuming the money could be the same or better of course.

I remember hearing back in 2003, one of the reasons Urban came to Utah is because he felt like we were a sleeping giant. He woke us up and Kyle has built us up, especially during our time in the Pac-12. We aren’t an Ohio State or an Alabama, but we are the next best thing compared to those types of programs.

The Big 12 has several sleeping giants.

ASU has no excuse to not be a good to great football team.

Prior to the Scalley “Head Coach in Waiting” announcement, I think Hill would have declined a USU offer hoping for a Utah offer when Whittingham retires. Now that he knows a Utah job offer is off the table, I think Hill would take the USU job if offered.

Them being left out of the B1G, ACC, and BigXII had very little to do with what they are and almost everything to do with where they are.
