Let me say I had no problem with Arod and his offensive schemes. I believe is greatest deficiencies were his play calling / in game adjustments and his lack of QB development.
Taylor can run the same O as Arod for all I care I just don’t want to see the same lack of imagination in play calling and I’d like to see a QB actually progress during…[Read more]
Eno will make his pick on Saturday at the army all American game. He will have five hats on the table and they are Arizona state, Utah, Michigan, Texas, and Baylor.
Eno has only taken two official trips one to Utah and one to ASU. Texas has gotten a couple commits from other RBs since the new HC has taken over. Baylor has come in late but most…[Read more]
Harding will be OC/OL
I could see Fred Whittingham move to RBs
Then a TE Coach is brought in but his main duty will recruiting so I would like to see a dynamic young recruiter.
A QB Coach that is a proven experienced teacher at that position.
Then when the NCAA allows another asst Coach I’d like to see an asst. OL Coach to help out Harding
AZUTE replied to the topic Word is that Mike McCoy is likely out in San Diego in the forum Football 4 weeks, 1 day ago
He has no interest in Coaching in college. He’s an NFL coach and if he’s let go in San Diego he will find an OC job in the NFL making a million plus a year.
AZUTE replied to the topic LA Tech just got called for targeting on what looked like a beautiful tackle in the forum Football 4 weeks, 1 day ago
That’s because no official wants to be the one that missed a targeting call when a player really gets hurt so they will throw the flag on every hard hit to cover themselves them let the replay official sort it out.
He started the season without a brace and by the third game had huge brace on his left knee.
My guess was he was told not to do anything that might risk further injury as there was no back up to replace him.
AZUTE replied to the topic Collette and barefield have been cleared and will play Saturday in the forum Men’s Basketball 1 month ago
His usu bio said 6’10” 240lbs and when he decided to transfer they changed it to 6’8″ 220lbs. Having seen him in warmups im guessing he’s closer to that 6’10” number
I’m giving TW a pass because I think he played hurt and we just didn’t know it.
He started the season without a knee brace but by game three had a large brace on his left knee.
I think Coaches told him to play conservatively and not get hurt worse cause there was no back up
AZUTE replied to the topic I know we all like to hate on BYU but they do travel well… in the forum Football 1 month, 1 week ago
Subpar bowl in a great city. Easy driver for both fan bases. Wyoming hasn’t been to a bowl in how long so you know their fans will travel. Add to that it’s BYU a team Wyoming fans absolutely hate maybe even worse then Utah fans. Big alum and church base in San Diego county for BYU. This all adds up to a big crowd.
AZUTE replied to the topic I do not understand why Ogbe didnt work out here…. in the forum Men’s Basketball 1 month, 3 weeks ago
The short version is Ogbe felt he was healthy enough to play at the end of last season and Utah coaches want to maintain his redshirt. So there were some hard feelings and it was just best for both parties to move on.

Some of you are very spoiled. You are used to 7 ft tall white guys coming in and put up big numbers as true freshman like JP did.
Jayce is technically a redshirt FR because he joined the team early last season after spring semester but little work was done on his development as a player since Utah was in the middle of the season and most practice…[Read more]
Are we next? Short answer….no
Whit is not firing Arod or Harding cause he doesn’t think coaching is the problem. He’ll blame everything on lack of player execution. He’ll sa coaches put players in position to make plays and they don’t make em.
It’s the same thing he says every year
