That’s what I’m thinking…it should be once a year right after the end of the Spring semester…you could even keep the 16-25 April that’s already there. Sports and NIL are really starting to affect the university experience to the extent that I fear a backlash will be coming soon.

This. I’ve been impressed with his ability to catch (almost) everything thrown in his direction and wonder why he doesn’t get more targets.

This is from his WSU bio page “Atuaia has a history of working with big, strong and powerful running backs.” That is what Utah traditionally does best with. Hopefully he can bring that back.

Have they announced what’s happening with Ganther specifically? Has he been booted, or is he moving to another role with the team?

Lud’s offense required the quarterback to use pre-snap motions and reads to figure out what the defense was doing, and run the play (or change the play) accordingly. I hope this is true. I liked Ganther when he played at Utah, but he has not been a great RB coach IMO.

Atuaia has a solid resume, so I hope it’s true. He has definitely resigned from WSU. However, there are some rumors he will be the OC for Bronco at USU.

I don’t get it either Steel. It looked like we had 4 or 5 plays. It was Whitt that made the statement at his press conference about simplifying things because of the portal turnover. 2-3 years to learn the offense. How many times did we hear “Rose doesn’t have a grasp on the offense yet”

Williams looks really good. With all the contact (holding) allowed in the Big12 the bigger stronger receivers can get separation easier.

I hear that all the time about Ludwig’s offense. It is so complicated…it takes a few years to learn…Cam sat out a year and was able to learn it…Rose couldn’t learn it…on and on.

That’s a good point. Kiffin and others have hoped it would be after bowl games/CFP, but that is too late to land a spot and get in place to enroll (not like the academic side has really mattered much lately). This is the new way – mine the G5 for the better players and bring them up to P4 and they compete for 1st team (or start because they already know the system like this case with Beck coming over).

What was Isaac’s TD/INT ratio? Oh yeah, 10/11. Whit shut that down so fast … wait, no he didn’t. Wilson also didn’t have any rushing TDs.

The Detmers do know about INTs and don’t mind them as much 😉
