Only counter to that is Utah did well enough in 2023 with the same injury troubles and in my view significantly harder schedule. This season was a regression by most standards. I will NEVER understand the FT struggles. It’s an unguarded shot from 15 feet. Any D1 athlete should be able to consistently make that shot at at least a 75% clip. 3 of 4 is not too much to ask and failure to at least achieve that is a failure mentally and/or a failure of accountability.

I don’t know about that. Marion is seen as the leading candidate for the HC job at Sam Houston State. Even if he does come to Utah, he’s an up and comer and you might only have him for one season before he takes a HC job somewhere else.
