My best friend went to Cal and has a family full of BYU fans. He pays attention to the Y/Utah rivalry. He hates both equally but has always been pretty objective and opinions are spot on because he’s an outsider looking into it. After the game he mentioned the hold in the context of the Cal v. Miami game where the Miami defender clearly hit with…[Read more]

I disagree. There is definitely some contact pre-limp, but the limp comes after he plants on the left foot to change direction. The contact prior does not look malicious. Nor does the subsequent contact where Kuithe goes down. It looks like Kuithe collapsed from the injury on the change of direction and the defender does not expect the sudden…[Read more]

Utah scored ZERO points in the 2nd half.

I’m with you (maybe not to TS orchestra ;)). I’ve been here since 2009 and gone to all the CSU/CU games Utah has played in. I’m not getting up early with a $170 ticket to see the Sandereses + 1 play for their bandwagon fans. Just 2 years ago, got $25 tickets 3rd row behind the visitor bench.
I still think Utah defense will slow down the prime…[Read more]

It is the best angle. Thank you for sharing. It changes my mind. Whether the call should have been made in that situation can be debated, but Utah’s defender definitely grabbed the receiver’s jersey and held. The subsequent facemask by the defender came afterward. I no longer question whether there was a hold on the play (I previously did).
Even…[Read more]

A lot of childishly stupid behavior is fun.

Haven’t we all accepted that this season may have exposed one or two issues within the program? It is the roller coaster ride of being a sports fan. Like many of you I will still watch the Colorado game and hope for the unexpected.

You could also look at the flip side- Lincoln Riley.
He seems to be the poster child for this generation of coaches and the NIL future. He may be good at that side of it, but he sure seems pretty clueless as a coach. You’re at USC with a Heisman qb and you can’t win a conference championship?
He seems to lack the ability to build a team with…[Read more] -

And sadly, D Will soon realized how good of a coach Jerry was and that Utah wasn’t that bad of a place to be after all.
Maybe it is possible for Whitt’s way and the NIL way to co-exist, but it is looking like a downward trend the past few years. Whitt has to adapt, and as most view it, he’s not adapting to it enough.
I also think it is possible…[Read more] -

I follow USC football on YouTube and there’s only one reason why Lincoln Riley still has a job…his massive contract and the gargantuan buy-out USC would have to swallow if they canned him. It’s that simple. The team has regressed every season since he arrived and just like at Oklahoma, where he stopped making the CFP when Bob Stoops’ recruits…[Read more]

That’s a no…but only because FSU gave Mike Norville one of the longest and financially biggest extensions in the history of college football this past offseason. If they were to fire him after this season, they’d be on the hook for around $80M…even they wouldn’t be able to swallow such a large amount.

USC placed on probation and fined $50,000 for violation of o and off-field coaching activities.

Funny how a slight whiff of success after a long period of failure turns some fan bases into raving idiots. I mean, you’d think Colorado fans would know that the entirety of their success is based on one single point of failure, that’s Deion Sanders, and that his expiration date is essentially this season. I know, and all of my Florida homies…[Read more]
