This morning 247 gave Ezra Ausar from East Carolina a crystal ball prediction to transfer to the U.
92 rating as a transfer. Averaged basically 10 and 5 at ECU over the last two years. Seems like he would be a solid frontcourt pickup!

Netflix and Prime have changed. It used to be that if you had a membership, everything in their library was included. Now that’s not the case, plus now there are ads! I’m gonna go back to DVD’s!

Welcome to Ute Hub. The attach is still happening. The sites IP address was blacklisted due to spam emails going out so I changed Ute Hub’s IP address to a different one this morning. It may cause some outages or weirdness for a day or two. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I hear you Jim. But this Exacte move is totally counterintuitive. He’s going to get way less exposure at a less prestigious academic institution. The only things that are plusses are that he probably walks into a starting position and is much closer to home.

Nothing makes sense anymore Miami. The landscape of sports in general has changed. Kids used to dream about playing high school sports and a chance at a college scholarship, education and four year experience that will put them on a path for future success. Now all the “Super leagues” and entitlements at a young age have given kids false hope of…[Read more]

And it was all his fault.
There are so many things wrong with your post I don’t even know where to start.
His California recruiting contracts alone are worth a job in staff.
Give him the big12 and 3 million in NIL and watch the ballers roll in.

It’s still a rule. If Lohner wants to play football and has a scholarship, it needs to count against the football number

There used to be a rule that if a kid was a two-sport athlete and one of them was football, his scholarship had to count against the football limit. That dates back to when the NCAA started limiting scholarships so that schools wouldn’t load up the non-revenue sports with football players to circumvent the cap.
Interestingly, one of the main…[Read more]

If things get sluggish or non-responsive, it’s because the server is under attack right now. I’m working on it. Reduced the load down quite a bit but it is still high.

Red Fuego is good but pales in comparison to El Pollo Rico, however of the three Peruvian chicken places I’ve tried in Colorado and Utah it is the best.

Wilguens Jr. Exacte, G — transferred to Bowling Green
blew my fucking mind. Who’s advising this young man? You’re leaving Utah and the Big XII to play for a team that hasn’t made the NCAAs since Richard Nixon was two months into his first term as president?
Utah#1 replied to the topic Utah as a B1G expansion target in the forum Misc 5 days, 21 hours ago
I believe there is validity to this as Utah has been aggressive in the portal and I hear they are not done yet recruiting more key players. Per Michelle Bodkin, more good news to come!

Vitos….is a Cheesesteak place in Bountiful that I am a bit partial to since I got to know the owner (Vito) a few years ago. Only open Tues-Fri right now from 11 until he runs out of Bread, usually around 1:30. Cash only business, yes its now a brick an mortar, where you make your own change. There was an article on his business/model done a few…[Read more]

I don’t know. Not even the PAC-12 could hold their nose long enough to take UNLV.
(Had the P12 held together post LA defections, I was actually a proponent of taking UNLV and SDSU and stay regional west. But I was definitely in a minority.)

Yeah, I kinda figure that’s what their line of thinking is. Double down on being THE highly regional conference.

This is especially true if/when the B1G gets into the South. If the B1G were to land UVA, UNC, FSU, and aTm (and I’d grab GA Tech due to being in Atlanta) they are essentially in every major market that the SEC is in. The B1G would likely dominate in national appeal. The SEC would be super short sighted to not go west if they can. Just getting…[Read more]
