Question… Do you do the same for movies, tv shows, music? Do you go online and question the integrity of your favorite actor?
It’s entertainment. If you don’t like it, go watch something else. Sitting around bitching about what YOU perceive reality to be isn’t Whit’s problem. It’s yours. People on here accuse him of lying. He hasn’t…[Read more]

It’s because these coaches think they are smarter than everyone else and everyone else is a moron.

I will personally be happy if he doesn’t retire. I don’t think the game has passed him by. I hope the NIL money freed up through Cam and Kuithe is again put forth by those that contributed and we’re able to bring in more talent.

Any individual could enjoy the wins. Look at the collective. Look at the post on this site after every game for the last 6 years. The wins were never “good enough” and by God the losses, straight self harm watch. It sucks the fun right out of it.

Taylor was on the hill for 2 years which is about average for coordinators anywhere but Utah. Anywhere else, a good coordinator is liable to get poached to a higher paying gig or a head coach slot, and one who isn’t getting the job done gets replaced. Utah has been different in that it’s been a last stop before retirement gig for some of the…[Read more]

2008 National Champ replied to the topic Ludwig's hands tied, compared to prev years (Cam is only half the equation) in the forum Football 8 months ago
Yes. Or I should say that he has one rollout that is a staple of his offense. He’s been rolling his QB right a couple of times a game since he came back in 2019 with the TE between 3 and 5 yards downfield and another receiver usually 10-12 yards deep and heading to the sideline.
Kuithe and Kincaid were usually successful on the underneath but…[Read more]

Winning hasn’t been fun around here since the end of the 2018 season. It has been more about relief.

Kyle Whittingham has been the #1 problem for some time now! How many OCs has Utah gone through since he’s been HC? A lot! Taylor who is now the HC at Stanford was OC at Utah for 1 year and then bolted. Different OCs same results. That has gotta tell us, maybe it was never the OCs, maybe it was Kyle Whittingham all along and to be honest, his…[Read more]

Does Ludwig’s offense use planned rollouts?

To be fair though, Kuithe even talked about how TCU seemed to know the exact play they were running and the routes that would be run in his post-game. The blitz got through just about every time making Isaac run for his life. I don’t think Isaac played great, but the offensive playcalling was also shit and has been this season in general.

I don’t think it is intellectually honest to say his hands are tied in this respect. That implies that he didn’t have any control over the matter, and he absolutely did.
He could have gone after a big back in the portal, and he instead went after Woods, who is not big, is not physical, and would not have helped in that regard, even if he wasn’t hurt.

I don’t want anybody from this offensive staff to stay on. I’m so tired of boring offenses. Many times the offense is so offensive that it feels like we lost the game even when we win the game.

No clue. My father talks with him a couple times a year but they don’t talk football. My guess is yes, but my guess is no better than anyone else’s. We know him as a friend, not a football coach.

He doesn’t hate the fans, he just hates interacting with them. It isn’t the one on one interactions he hates, it is the “elbow rubbing” and such with the donors that he really doesn’t like. He’ll do anything to help out the little guy… but the only things he really cares about relating to his job are the success of his players on and of the…[Read more]

He hates dealing with fans. If he could, he would never do press conferences or give us any information.
For the life of me, I’ll never understand why so many sports coaches have this attitude. I mean, it’s fans, and the billions of dollars that they spend on a yearly basis, who provide coaches (and athletes) their millionaire lifestyle. If it…[Read more]

I’ve been thinking about how much fans really know relative to all the information that could potentially be known. Here is what I’ve come up with.
What fans know –
– We know the raw, on-field results of whatever the team is doing.
– We know that some players are injured.
– We know who is employed, what their job titles are, and what they are…[Read more] - Load More
