Hey look, I’m not a member of the Harlan Fan Club. In fact, I think he’s pretty much a glad-handing moron. However, the Krystkowiak debacle is all on Hill. Harlan couldn’t can him when he took over in 2018 because of how much money was left in his contract. And you’re confusing college ADs with pro GMs. College ADs rarely, rarely clean house…[Read more]

That’s on Harlan? Are you new to Utah sports? It was Dr. Chris Hill who signed Krystkowiak to the unfireable extension. It was Harlan who had to clean up Hill’s mess.

If the team ends the season on an eight-game losing streak, should Whitt be back? It reminds me of that line from Batman. “You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.”

Whit’s football legacy is a great one. I don’t think the results this year should have is questioning that or piling on. Before the season we were dating, if this is his last season, let’s go out on a high note. A lot of people are concerned about it being his last season. Now some a trying to push him out. I get it, things didn’t go as…[Read more]

Pete Carroll, when he took over the SC job, knew that he could get all the skill players he would ever need within a 2 hour car ride of campus. What he did that fixed that program was he made recruiting the best line players in the country his top priority and then ran a scheme that allowed those players to impose their will on less talented…[Read more]

Uuuhhh, Utah was nothing, They were essentially New Mexico, before Urban and Whit. He’s don’t incredible and in no way are we or anyone overstaying his legacy.
People need to take a deep breath about these last 3 games. I know it sucks, but teams have their ups and downs. Whit is still awesome and even if we lose the rest of the games this…[Read more]

I go back to the bye week during the 2023 season. It was announced that Rising was done for the year so the splitting of the reps BS didn’t need to go on any longer. I remember saying on here that my hope was that they would look at the tape, figure out what it was that they were doing well, and then lean into it. Instead, they moved Vaki to…[Read more]

How’d that work with Krystkowiak? Remember him? Utah had to suffer through at least two seasons beyond his expiration date because they couldn’t swallow his buyout. And he was getting paid half what Whitt is getting.

Jackson was a HUGE loss to portal/NIL.
Whititng hams MO was take lesser recruited players, build them up and then start them for 1-2 years. Anyone he builds up now is gone with NIL once they become starter material.
His entire recruiting and development system is now obsolete or is only build to feed the teams with more $$$.
Yes we should…[Read more]

Whitt has got the program by the balls. He’s owed close to $20M (before bonuses) over the next years and that figure doesn’t even include his staff’s buyouts (Ludwig is at $1.85M per season). So, to make a long story short, there’s no way that Whitt leaves the job unless he does so willingly and accepts a negotiated settlement from the university.

Stanley was the decoy when Parks got ploughed and would have also gotten trucked himself if it hadn’t been a fake. It was almost like TCU knew what was coming with Stanley split wide. I’m not sure how that could be since Utah does such a good job with their personnel packages to make sure that tendencies aren’t a giveaway. Guess TCU just got…[Read more]

Half of USC’s fanbase is livid and the other is suffering from Battered Fan Syndrome (BDS). They’re in a complete state of shock that, with the amount of blue chip athletes that they have and the financial resources they’ve devoted to football, they’re getting such a poor return on investment. Expect to see 10K at the next home game at the Coliseum.

he already had a worse record over his previous 13 games than Helton had in any 13 game period during his tenure. Amazing that damage the losing to Bryson Barnes can have on a program 🙂

The Utes have gone on losing streaks before but there always seemed to have been mitigating factors and a light at the end of the tunnel. I cannot recall, however, a time where Utah seemed to simply be getting out matched by equal or lesser competition and looking like dog s#%$ doing it for a four week stretch. I for one, am grasping at straws…[Read more]

No he didn’t. When he came back, Ludwig made a comment about this being his last coaching stop and when Whit goes, he will too.

Here’s a stat for you…with yesterday’s loss, and the remainder of the season still ahead, Lincoln Riley already has more losses in his first three seasons at USC than the so-called disaster Clay Helton. If it wasn’t for his 10 year x $110M contract, he would be toast.
