Yup misc is the right place. I’ve done my own mudding and sanding for a long time. There are definitely some tricks and skills that make it easier and look better.

I think he’s pretty damned athletic for a 7’1″ kid. Just needs some touch on his shot.

I’m renovating my basement apartment and have gotten to the mudding and sanding portion of the build. Wanted to see if someone on here has a relatively cheap contact that can mud/sand located near the Sandy area. Appreciate any help! Hopefully this is the right forum for this topic…

Apologies, I intended something different. I think BYU lost both the Fanos (both highly recruited) partly due to Logan’s discontent.

Package deal can giveth and taketh, may be a good idea to keep Christian happy.

Fantastic news. Obviously there is a lot of runway between now and the ’27 signing day but this a great pickup. Warren will probably end up a 5*- something we have never signed out of high school. Having an inside track to his attention is really cool.
Great day to be a Ute!

One additional prospect of interest to follow after Thaddeus’ intention to join his brother Christian at Utah, is Damani Warren. The No. 23 overall recruit in the 2027 Rivals250, and No. 2 wide receiver has lived with the Thatcher family for almost four years and they c…

Thaddeus, also known as Jude in the New Testament. St. Jude is the patron saint of “Lost Causes” so we got that going for us.

LOL…that would really be a unique approach. But, when lawyers and agents get involved, anything is possible. Essentially, they’d be trying to convince the decision-makers that common sense doesn’t apply when it comes to “student-athletes.” Gotta love it. I’m not blaming Lovering for anything, since he’s just following his interest, but, in…[Read more]

My guess is you are mostly talking about football. If so, you are right. There are no real elite teams in the XII.
In basketball, however, there are several.
That’s probably another reason why I’ve been receptive to the change: I value college basketball more than I value college football. And through a basketball lens, going from the Pac to the…[Read more]

That’s definitely understandable. I think a good share of Utah fans would feel the same.
I’ve been able to make the switch, partly because some of our mates are easy for me to like. On top of that, I now have even more contempt for USC, UCLA, Oregon and Washington because they killed the Pac 12 for nothing more than a bigger check to overpay…[Read more]

The thinking may be to combine all the time he missed with injury across those four years and argue to the NCAA that he should get a grad year to make up for it. If so, I’d be shocked if that works.

Honestly, I don’t keep track of anything related to the Big 12. I personally don’t feel any connection to those schools and that’s never going to change. It’s unfortunate but that’s just the way it is. In fact, I feel way more of a connection to other schools in the Mountain West (like Utah State, Wyoming, Colorado State, etc..) than anything…[Read more]

Dorian Singer also thought that he’d get another year and that was denied, wasn’t it? I guess that this is another one of those cases where a player tries to push the envelope to see where it takes him. Again, personally I can’t see how this gets approved when Lovering played major minutes in all four of his college seasons. Even in his…[Read more]

I agree he’s done. He can’t score or shoot foul shots. We need a more athletic center. He would be a great backup for 10 minutes a game.

While his free throw shooting is certainly not stellar, he’s a good defender. But surprised if he can get another year.

If Lovering goes to the portal, I calculate his chances of finding a D1 suitor to be 42%. In other words, slightly higher than his free throw shooting percentage.
Moving on, I’m looking forward to seeing what Jensen can do on the recruiting trail.

Isn’t it interesting how realignment has changed our attention on other teams? It used to be we also kept track of teams like UCLA USC Oregon Stanford etc. Now I have zero interest tracking how those teams are doing – and instead now we’re following teams like TT Houston Baylor Iowa State and others.
So weird how realignment has done that in such…[Read more]

Ugh, I can’t stand seeing those video game final scores. The golden age of the NBA, roughly 1990-2002, was so fun to follow. I can’t understand how we got to a point where the league has de-emphasized defense so much.
Remember in the old days how we’d watch games and occasionally see a whistle for “illegal defense” – which was basically a zone…[Read more]

Agreed. Our current uniform is kind of interesting. It’s OK because it’s not overly gaudy like our unis for most of the past decade have been (especially the ones before the current unis). I like their simplicity.
On the other hand, they are bland and uninspiring. I’ve also said a zillion times I don’t like the arched UTAH type, it needs to be…[Read more]
