Bowl predictions

Was browsing bowl predictions. CBS has us vs Miami (ACC) in sun bowl. Cool.

But I also enjoyed seeing USC predicted for the Los Angeles bowl vs UNLV (Mtn West).

Will USC fans travel across LA for that? Unclear.

With the holiday bowl being played at the Padres baseball stadium, I really hope they don’t play there.

The holiday bowl should move to a new city until San Diego builds a proper stadium, or just play at SDSU’s new stadium.

WTF? Petco is a very nice baseball stadium, but that would be a terrible place for the Holiday Bowl! The Chargers are gone, the new SDSU stadium is as good as they’re going to get. It’s not perfect, but that’s where the bowl should be. Not Petco Park. Good grief! Besides, Petco’s capacity is only 5,000 more. And they’ll probably lose a good amount of that just to make room for a football field.
