  I love that the team sings Utah MAN in the locker room after the game. Remember when the student government tried to force Utah FAN down our throat?! What a bunch of snapperheads….

    Meh. If you want to sing ‘Fan’ instead of ‘Man’ that’s pretty low on the world outrage scale for me.

    FYI that wasn’t the student government – that was President Pershing. He was a total spineless pantywaist. Worst president I can recall in my 20+ years associated with the University.

      Pershing certainly DID suck. So did Young! We got REALLY spoiled by the tenure of Pres. Bernie Machen. THAT guy could LEAD!

    When that happened, I went back to the “original” lyrics. No more will I degrade the coeds by singing about how fair they are. Instead, “we’ll drink a pint of lager and we’ll smoke a big cigar…”
