Plus the Mtn West has teams like New Mexico that are under very tight quarantine restricts so practicing is going to be very difficult.

It is a good policy for those living on campus. But now all the commuter students join the mix and while our local rate of infection is good and getting better, you have to worry that one unrecognized case could blow it all up.

An interesting article for sure. Problem is its 4 months out of date and contains several points that have been overtaken by current events.
Still room for discussion on the subject.

-2. But now ask me about how excited I am to see the NHL come back. Stanley Cup Baby!!

Yeah would much preferred to add Stanford instead of the Ducks, but it is what it is. Wait and see if the season really happens.
Gary Sapp replied to the topic I heard a snippet on the morning news in the forum Football 6 months, 1 week ago
What I have seen is that we just go on from here like this year happened normally. 2021 is in Provo and any possibility of rescheduling isn’t possible until 2029, likely we just keep the status quo and hope normal comes back.

Look at the current infection rates of Florida, Georgia, Texas and Arizona. Several of them are climbing so alarmingly, they are getting ready to go back to being closed.
Opening is fine, but if you don’t keep up the mask use and social distancing, you will have thrown any gains away and be right back where you started.

Assuming there is any herd immunity. Still seeing studies that indicate having covid doesn’t give immunity. And if that’s the case, chasing a vaccine may be futile.
We would need a blocking agent otherwise it just keeps going around and around until anyone susceptible to the serious version has died. That level of herd immunity would make…[Read more]

Felt it just fine in West Valley City, though my niece in Herriman didn’t feel anything. It could knock this off anytime.

My mother always thumped melons before buying them. What she hoped to hear was never clear to me, but she always did several before making her final selection so she must have gained some information.

Go Lady Utes! It has to be a tough go to try to be competitive in this conference with all the great women’s programs here. Lynn Roberts does a great job and to not finish at the bottom every year is an accomplishment.

A team that has been to every NCAA post season tournament ever is probably elite by default.
But they are outstanding this year.

Until fan opinions put points on the board, I say, screw’em.
We’ll leave them in the dirt for dead. Ask Cal.

The interim SC AD already said Helton will finish the season. So he will likely not be fired until 3 secs after their last game.

Before the start of the season there were a number of articles showing our probablity of winning each game on the schedule.
I would be greatly interested in seeing how the projections against the rest of our schedule looks now. So do any of you remember where those projections would be now?
Gary Sapp replied to the topic Cal QB Brasch in the forum Football 1 year, 2 months ago
Somebody named Anae is likely gonna have a big game again. Just keep making this QB’s run for their lives and the win is likely ours.

#4 got the targeting ejection and I have seldom see one more clearly deserved. In SloMo, the leading with the crown of the helmet was especially clear with those earwax colored helms and he jumped into it as well. Too bad he got to get out of the rain. He should have had to sit in it and watch his team get their ass handed to them.

Anything that helps them drop 1 or 2 more games is good with me. Not wishing anything permanent on anyone, just some help for the South Championship.

If he can stop turning out the Burficks and other sketchy players that alone will be a big plus for ASU and the rest of the conference. I cringe every time I see him mentioned doubly so if they note he is from ASU or the Pac-12.

Meh. If you want to sing ‘Fan’ instead of ‘Man’ that’s pretty low on the world outrage scale for me.
More important that you are singing, especially in support of a win.
