I am not sure if that helps or hurts us.

Also, a high possibility of thunderstorms may lead to game delays.

Reminds me of the Michigan game, maybe we finish this one in an empty stadium again?

Have taken a peek at long range extrapolations that do project that, but that is what it is beyond about 5-6 days.  Florida under these conditions gets storms that pop up in the afternoon but hopefully will be waning by kickoff.  The precise timing is a detail that is not predictable this far in advance, though.  Best we can do is look at ensemble of predictions.  Those are lower resolution than what you need to resolve all of the processes involved, but the consensus of those does show greater chance of rain in afternoon than evening.

It’s always raining in Gainesville, but it could be for hours or just as little as 20 min.

Yup, D T is right. This time of year the majority of Florida is forecast for rain and thunderstorms. They are isolated, but they are heavy when it happens. Usually doesn’t last long, though.
