Don’t know if this is official yet, but… if he’s announcing on Twitter, then I suppose it is.

Seems like a good hire if true
Though Whitt and whitted is going to be confusing for people on the team.
Any coach that has “Whitt” in his name works for me.
As long as its not Coach Whittless 😉
Anyone know how his recruiting and development has been was Wisconsin?
Honestly doesn’t look like he’s brought in many big time recruits or elevated their play… But it’s also hard to judge, since Wisconsin is a smash-mouth run-first team.
He was also the Packers WR coach for one year where the team did well, but the WR not so much.
Prior to that though he was the Colorado St WR Coach from 2012-2018 and unearthed/developed Michael Gallup and Rashad Higgins.
One very nice thing about him is that he’s connected everywhere at this point
Colorado St and Utah in the West, NC State (where he played) in the Southeast, Wisconsin (and GB to a lesser extent) in the Midwest
I know we’ve had good luck in the past hiring former WR coaches from COlorado St.
Honestly though, I’m willing to give the program the benefit of the doubt with coaching hires – they tend to do pretty well, so my default response when they hire a guy I don’t really know is to assume they know what they’re doing
Aren’t we a smash mouth run first team ._.
He coached for Wisconsin so we know he can teach receivers to block.
KSL article about Coach Whitted.
That is at least 3 coach Whitts for anyone counting.
